OUR FIRST CASK TAPPING IN MOUNT LEBANON!
Join us at our Mount Lebanon Taproom, Thursday, September 5th for the eighth year of Britsburgh Cask Tappings and our first tapping in our Taproom!
Since 2016, we’ve been brewing the official beer of Britsburgh Week, celebrating all things British in Pittsburgh.
For this year’s Britsburgh Ale, we’ve brewed a “British IPA” with East Kent Golding hops. As always, we adjust our water chemistry to match the profile of British water for the most authentic taste possible.
In addition to the cask version of this IPA, which will be tapped promptly at 6pm, we’ll have this beer available on draft in both c02 and nitro formats. One beer, three ways!
Since opening East End Chewing, we’ve offered a special Britsburgh Pie and this year is no different! This year’s pie is:
“They’re Called Chips”
Vindaloo tomato sauce, pizza cheese, steak fries, sautéed leeks & kale.
Our Taproom will be open at 5pm and we recommend arriving closer to that time than the cask tapping at 6pm. The cask always sells out and we only have as much as is in there. Other draft versions and the special pie will be available right when we open.
We encourage you to stick around for Drew’s Clues Trivia, which will begin at 7pm and run until 9pm. It’s free to play, we’ll have a British-themed round, and the top three teams will win a gift card!
