Ladies and Gentlemen, some sad news:
We are making our final approach to some dark times at the brewery... what I'm tentatively calling The Great Beer Shortage of 2008. The last kegs of Fat Gary Nut Brown Ale, East End Witte, Monkey Boy Hefewiezen,Pedal Pale Ale, Session #7: Wheat Hop, Session #14: Scottish 80 Shilling (and in another week or so, Black Strap Stout) will likely be drained before the week is out. Yes, that includes any stock at the distributors. It came up quickly, and though I've been brewing my bee-hind off this week, it will take some time before all these beers are completely fermented up and ready to go.
Yes, there will be more Pedal coming this year, and more Monkey Boy too! Along with regulars like Fat Gary, Witte, and Black Strap...still no word on the next session ale though.
So, I just wanted to make sure you knew that the chances of finding all of these on tap at the 5pm close of Growler Hours on Saturday is pretty slim (so come early and stock up!), but come hell or high water, we've still got PLENTY of good ol' Big Hop IPA to drown your sorrows until the rest of the family is back on tap.
